5 ways to keep your bathroom warm
The turn of season is just around the corner – spring is finally in the air.
Stay toasty on these final chilly days – and don’t get caught out next winter – with our five tips for keeping your bathroom warm during the colder months.
1. Toasty towels
We love heated towel rails – not only do they provide your bathroom with an additional source of heat, they add a touch of luxury, too.
A quality heated towel rail, such as the Neko Trend Heated Towel Rail with LED On/Off Button, softens wall surfaces, adds towel storage and gives you wonderfully warm towels the whole family will love.
Ask about our freestanding models that plug into a wall socket, or for seamless installation speak to your licensed electrician to hardwire your heated towel rail into the electrical system.
2. Heat retaining bath
Enjoy the perfect winter soak with a bath made of heat maximising material such as acrylic, stone and ceramilux. Neko Freestanding Acrylic Baths are available in various stylish designs, with your family in mind, to withstand the test of time.
Indulge in a little extra luxury with the Falper Level 45 Freestanding Bath. It’s an elegant, freestanding bath that boasts a unique shape for the perfect soak. This freestanding bath is presented in matt Ceramilux, a versatile composite material which is highly resistant to heat loss and scratching, and is easy to clean.
3. Rug up your floor
Soften your flooring for an immediate increase in comfort levels. A well-fitting bath mat or rug provides extra insulation to your bathroom and will keep your feet snug. Keep in mind the textures, colours and shape of your bathroom when selecting the perfect piece to maintain the integrity of your bathroom design.
4. Add a touch of colour
Done well, a touch of bold or dark colour can create an immediate feeling of warmth in your bathroom. Paint a wall in just one weekend, or introduce warm colours with the purchase of some new towels, bathroom accessories, potted plants and bath mats.
5. Go natural with your lighting
Keep your blinds open during the day to allow the warmth of sunlight fill your bathroom before closing them at sunset. Depending on your budget, you could add a skylight, or simply arrange a collection of candles for soft lighting.
