Southern Plumbing’s Managing Director is Warwick Beutler, son of the company’s founder, Fred Beutler. Warwick came into the business in 1990 when Fred decided – at the age of 70 – it was time to spend more time playing bowls. Prior to taking on a full-time role with Southern Plumbing, Warwick was a journalist and foreign correspondent with the ABC.
The two other directors of the company are Iain Kemp and Jason Miller.
Iain, a Yass boy through and through, is the company’s General Manager (Trade) and regarded as a technical expert on plumbing products. He’s been with the company for 19 years.
Jason is also a country boy who helped establish the company’s retail brand more than twenty years ago. Now he is General Manager (Retail), responsible for all retail and commercial sales.
The company’s Financial Controller is Andrew Cullen. With a strong accounting background in Australia and the UK, Andrew drives the many “back-end” functions to constantly improve Southern Plumbing’s performance.

The four senior managers are strongly supported by Pat Read and Glenn Jones. Pat is a plumber by trade and has 18 years behind him at Southern Plumbing. Glenn has clocked up 17 years. After running the Wagga and Albury/Wodonga operations for many years, he is now the General Manager in charge of sales.
With all these years of experience, Southern Plumbing is in good shape for the future.
